It's Humble Pie Friday!

TGIF!! It's Friday again and that means a new challenge at the Humble Pie blog. This week the challenge was to make an altered item. If you don't have Humble Pie stamps, that's ok you can still play along.

What I did for the challenge was to make a little tag journaling book for the upcoming Christmas holidays. Now I'm all set to write down all the little fun things that happen in the next few weeks.

Materials: Humble Pie stamps (Maggie with the Christmas lights), Page Frames acrylic tag booklet, Copic Markers and Spica pens, Little Yellow Bicycle Letter stickers, Savvy'n'Sassy ribbon, Making Memories Epoxy stickers, My Mind's Eye paper, Maya Road sheers.

Also Phebe at the Town Scrapper is having a sale. Buy 1 item and get 2nd of equal or lesser value for 50% off. Sale is on until the middle of January 2010. And note that Phebe's store will be closed from Dec. 11 to 21.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend!

The Ribbon tree

Good morning! It's a windy day here. I can hear it beating the house right now. Hope your weather is good today, where ever you are.

Today I have a ribbon tree to share with you. You can find the tutorial I posted on the Savvy'n'Sassy blog here. This is a super easy project, a bit time consuming but I love the end product. I bought my Styrofoam tree at Michaels. You can get all different sizes. And all the ribbon is from Savvy'n'Sassy.

I still need a topper for it. I haven't decided what to use yet.

That's it for today. Have a good one!

Hope you have a lovely Monday, I'll be back here and there throughout the week.

Humble Pie Friday!

It's Humble Pie Friday again!! Today we have a great sketch for our challenge. This was loads of fun to do. You must check out these stamps, they are super cute. The Christmas line is awesome. Today I used the Tree and the presents from the new stamps for my card. They are colored with Copics markers and spica markers and Stickles. I love the way it turned out.

If you do a card, make sure to link it to the Humble Pie blog for your chance to win. You don't need Humble Pie stamps to play along, but if you win you will get to try out some of these awesome stamps.

That's it for today. Have a great weekend. I'm hoping to be back on Sunday with my tutorial for Savvy'n'Sassy.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Well I'm in full blown Christmas card making mode. I have lots to make and now it's crunch time. So here are some. I used the Savvy'n'Sassy November ribbon kit. This is yummy. This color is awesome, it goes with so many of the new and old Christmas papers out there. I did a bunch of cards but here are a few:

Well that's it for today. Quick post, the boys are off today. And we have a fun day planned.

Thank you to all our troops past and present that fight for the life we have today!
