Creatively Yours layouts

Good morning. I have a couple of layouts I did using the sketches atCreatively Yours. The first is the entry I did for my design team application. The second is for this months sketch by Noella. I was one of the guest designers this month. I love these sketches, they are so detailed.

Well can you believe November is over! I can't. Now it's a scramble to get ready for the holiday season.

Oh and if you are looking for my cards in Canadian Scrapbooker, I'm on page 23. I'm very excited. Have a great day!

And more Christmas cards...

Yep, here are some more I did this weekend. I had a goal of 30. I got about 27 done. Not bad. I still have a few more to do before I have to send them off. I can't believe it's almost December. Speaking of December the December ribbon kits are up and Savvy'n'Sassy. As usual they are gorgeous. I can't wait to get mine, but I'm waiting for some Fancy Pants to arrive before I have it all shipped.

A quick post tonight. I have to get some dinner going. I'll be back with a layout I did in a couple of days.

A bunch of cards and some news!

Hi everyone. I know I've been a bad blogger. It's been a busy week. First some good news. My cards from the Hot Shotz contest at Scrapshotz are in the Winter issue of Canadian Scrapbooker. I actually saw a copy and I'm so excited to see my cards in a magazine. It's my first time being published!

Also, I have been chosen to be a designer for Creatively Yours for their next term. I can't wait! Noella's sketches are amazing. If you need some inspiration head over there.

I mentioned I was at the Bloomin' Inn for a scrapbooking retreat this weekend. I was working on Christmas cards all weekend. And here are a few.

Well that's it for today. Have a happy Monday!

Shaken not stirred

Happy Saturday! (Can you tell I'm a Bond fan!) Well if you haven't been over to Savvy'n'Sassy to check out the November ribbons you must go. I got to work with the Olive Martini kit. And let me tell you I think it's my favorite kit to date. I just love it. The greens work with all of my Christmas papers, and I have a lot. I'm so busy trying to get Christmas projects done and they were the perfect ribbons for them. Here are some cards I made with the new My Mind's eye Christmas papers.

Well that's it a short post. I'm off to work on some more Christmas cards and to prepare for my weekend crop! I'm leaving on Friday for the Bloomin' Inn. I'm teaching a very quick class this time, I find they go over better when everyone is trying to get all their Christmas projects done. I'll post it when I get back.

Have a great weekend.

A card and a layout!

Hi everyone. I have a card to share with you that I did for Let's Scrap. It's based on a sketch that I designed. And you can see the rest of the DT creations on the blog. I used some My Mind's Eye paper and die cuts, Savvy'n'Sassy ric rac, Cuttlebug, Kaiser rhinestones and my sewing machine.

The other thing I have to share is a layout I did for my November challenge at Savvy'n'Sassy. You can find it here. I used the brand new Fancy Pants paper on this one. It's from our weekend getaway in Waterton this summer. This was the hike we did while there. It was so pretty.

Well that's it for today. It's busy having the boys at home but they are back to school tomorrow.

It's beginning to feel alot like Christmas!

Good Sunday morning. I'm enjoying a lazy morning so far, which is much needed. I can't believe we are into November already and Christmas is fast approaching and I'm way behind on my Christmas cards. So I've been making lots and I have a few to show you. I just love Christmas and Christmas cards are my favorite to make. So here we go.

This first two are using Making Memories paper, Maya Road chipboard, Savvy'n'Sassy ribbon, Ranger paint, glaze pen, Martha Stewart border punch, Kaiser Rhine stones and my sewing machine.

These next two are using Basic Grey paper from last year. This one also has some really fun Stampendous stamps. I love these little guys.

On this one the trees are made with my Cuttlebug.

Well there are some cards. Don't forget to stop by Savvy'n'Sassy and check out the gorgeous November ribbons.

Check out the blog to see the other beautiful cards from the design team. Just a quick post today. I have a busy day ahead. I'm hoping to work on some more Christmas cards today. December seems awfully close! Have a great day.

Creatively Yours & November SheetLoad

Good morning. Well I have exciting news. As you know last week I posted that I had moved on to round two of the November guest designer contest at Creatively Yours. Well I'm happy to say that I will be a guest designer for the month of November. I'm really excited to work with Noella's sketches for the month. Below is the sketch we had to work with and the layout I came up with. I used Pink Pailsee Vintage Moon paper and embellishments, Savvy'n'Sassy ric rac, glass baubles, Maya Road sheers, Fancy Pants glitter cuts and American crafts thickers.

Also, the November issue of SheetLoad of cards is available. I had lots of fun working on this issue. We were sponsored by the Angel Company this month.

Wow, busy day! Hope you are enjoying your Saturday.
