Hello everyone. Well we are all moved, there have been a few bumps but we are getting them sorted out. I wanted to show you a few cards I did for Virginia's Card of the Day challenge at Scrapshotz. She posts a sketch from Pagemaps or Valerie Salmon every day and the idea is by the end you have a bunch of cards in your stash. Here are few that I did. Very cool and never too late to start.

Well I'm off to deal with a few of those bumps in the road I was talking about.

Savvy'n'Sassy Ribbon

Hi all, today I have a layout (I know I haven't had much of those lately). I did it for my guest design team assignment at Savvy'n'Sassy. I got to use the fun Rainbow bliss ribbon kit. Now I'm not usually a fan of yellow, but it worked perfectly with this photograph and paper. The ties in the corner were put through big eyelets and then I wrapped the rest around the picture. This is from our San Francisco trip last fall.

Well, that is probably it for awhile. I will be MIA. We are moving later this week, so it'll be a little busy! Have a great week.

A Big toot!

Hi all, as you know I've been participating in the cards portion Hot Shotz contest on Scrapshotz. We've had 5 rounds of challenges and someone was eliminated each round. Well, the final round finished up on Friday on on Sunday I found out that I won the contest! I'm so excited. I worked so hard on my entries and I can't even explain how happy I am. The big news is that the winning entries are published in the Winter edition of Canadian Scrapbooker! This is a first for me, I've never been published. So I'm over the moon. Not to mention the prize package. Oh and I get to be the guest designer for the July Scrapshotz Card kit. So it was a pretty good Mother's Day at my house.

Also, my guest design team projects are up at Savvy n Sassy. The ribbon is so yummy over there. Definitely check out the ribbon over there.

And finally check out SheetLoad of Cards. They are running a challenge and the cards are going to Cards for Heros.org. A great idea!

Ok that's it for today. Have a great one!

Hi all, sorry I've been MIA this week. It's been a busy one! It was the last week of Hot Shotz at Scrapshotz. I must say I spent a lot of time on those cards. I even made 2 sets! I couldn't decide which way to go with it. I'll share the set that I didn't submit later this week.

But first here is Round four's entry. We had to alter something related to cards. So I altered one of those Maya Road tins that chipboard comes in and I made a set of cards to go with it. Isn't that bird the cutest.

I'm also working on my Savvy n Sassy guest design team projects. This ribbon is amazing. If you haven't checked out this site you must if you are a ribbon lover.

Ok that's it for today. You can see my final entry for the Hot Shotz contest in the Scrapshotz gallery here. Have a wonderful Mother's day weekend.

Savvy'n'Sassy

I have pretty exciting news. I won the April guest design team challenge on Savvy'n'Sassy. So I get to be the guest designer for May. And I get to play with this wonderful ribbon kit below.

If you haven't checked out this site, take a look. There are lots of cool ribbons and ribbon kits. I'm hoping to get working on this later next week. I also got to post a challenge over there. You can check it out here. It's a little sketch I came up with. Stay tuned to see what I create with this yummy ribbon.

Have a great weekend everyone! Happy scrapping!

Another day another card!

Here is my card that I did for the Hot Shotz contest at Scrapshotz. It was an inspiration piece. This was a fun card. It took me 2 hours to do with all the stitching and eyelets. But I think it turned out pretty cute. The flower is a rubon that I put on to glossy paper and then colored in with ink. It's a very soft look. The picture doesn't do it justice.

Well that's all for today. Have a great one!
