More exciting news!!

Hi all!

Well I've been keeping something under my hat for a few days and I've been bursting at the seams. Thankfully Rhea has put me out of my misery and I'm able to tell you that I have been invited to be on the design team at Savvy n Sassy. I'm so thrilled to be a part of this great team. The ladies there are so friendly and fun. If you haven't had the chance to check it out go over and join us. If you've been on my blog you know that I was the guest DT member back in May. They have ribbon kits every month. So you get a bunch of coordinating ribbon to play with. I can't wait to start.

Well July will be a busy month for me as I will be starting with Savvy n Sassy and I also have my Guest DT (cards) over at Scrapshotz. So I should be able to get out of this funk and have some cards and layouts to show you.

Have a fun and safe Canada day weekend.

Last day of school!!!

Well it's the last day of school for the boys. We are all excited to be on summer holidays. Last day of soccer too. I can't tell you how excited we are to finish that.

So a couple of things...don't forget about my blog sketch challenge. You have until July 4 to link your cards.

Alicia at Sheet Load of cards has a fun and new idea. Head over to Sheet Load short cuts and check it out. I can't wait to get my hands on one of these babies!

Savvy 'n 'Sassy has their usual guest design team challenge that ends in a couple of days. I was fortunate enough to win in May and they are a great group of ladies. There is still time to enter.

Well that's it. Have a great day and I'm hoping to scrap on the weekend and have something to post on Monday. Oh and I'll have lots of fun challenges on Scrapshotz starting Monday as I get my turn as Guest Design team for cards (part of my winning the Hot Shotz contest). See you later!

Sunday, Sunday

Hi Everyone,

Here is a picture of the blog candy I promised. This is for the sketch I posted on Friday. Link your creation to that post and I'll draw a name on July 4rth. There is some of the Black Magic Core'dinations Cardstock, some new Prima flowers, a Pink Paisley stamp and some Maya Road and Creative Imaginations chipboard.

Also, here is a card I did for our kindergarten teacher. I used Daisy bucket paper, Core'dinations c/s, Prima, flowers, Whipper Snapper stamp, Stickles, Cuttlebug, and some Kaiser Rhinestones. This was a fun card to make.

Hope you are having a great weekend!

Some blog candy...

So if you went over to Sheet Load you saw the exciting news that Sheet Load is going to be starting mini issues in July. I have been asked to one of the two sketch/sample artists for these issues. I'm very excited and I hope you all check it out.

So in honor of my new assignment I thought I'd put up a sketch and some blog candy. So here is the sketch and I'll take a picture of the blog candy and post it this weekend along with my take on the sketch. Post a link to your card in the comments by the morning of July 4. I'll draw for a winner.

Two posts in one day!! Must be a record.

A "shout out" to Sheet Load

Hi all, I know I've been MIA, I've been working on something *wink*.

Check out Sheet Load of cards for a great giveaway. If you are a card maker, check out the issues too. Great sketches and examples. And if you look really closely you may see someone familiar on the left hand side!

I'm currently working on some teacher gifts that I'll share with you when I'm done. It's such a busy time of year. I'm hoping to get a little more scrapping in once school and soccer wrap up.

Have a great day!

Some wintery cards

Hi all,

I had mentioned a while back that I was going to post a set of cards that I did during the Hot Shotz contest at Scrapshotz. For the final round I actually made 2 sets and I ended up using the other set as my entry. These are the ones that didn't make the cut. I used the Ranger Glue pad and Making Memories glitter for the snowflake and I used the really cool Stix 2 foil for the "peace" word. Love the way they turned out and they look way better in real life. The blues don't show up very well in the picture.

Well that's it for today. Have a great one!

A new Sheet Load!

The June issue of Sheet Load of cards is available for download. If you haven't checked out this awesome site go over there. It makes card making easy and fun. There are some great artists over there.

I'll catch up more later, I'm working on some cards. And still working on Virginia's challenge at Scrapshotz.
