Savvy'nSassy Spotlight Special

The Savvy'n'Sassy Spotlight special this week is Unity Stamps. You can find them on sale here. I absolutely love these stamps. I think they are my new favorite. They are red rubber backed with EZ mount, so they are ready to use on acrylic blocks. I made some cards with a couple of the sets that are on sale this week.

These stamps are so much fun, and they are on for a good price this week at Savvy'n'Sassy. Check it out.

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend and are enjoying some sun.

A summer card

This weeks sketch at Creatively Yours was a card, with a twist. The twist was to use blues and sandy summer colors. Here is what I came up with:

I used some older Crate paper, Prima flowers, Savvy'n'Sassy ribbon and my new Making Memories Slice (my wonderful DH surprised me for my birthday a couple of weeks back!).

Make sure to head over to Creatively yours to check out Andi and Jennifer's creations.

Hope you are enjoying your day and I'll be back later in the week.

Fairy Garden Part 3

TGIF!! I'm so looking forward to today. My wonderful DH is off today and the boys are at camp so we are going to go out and do some shopping and lunch. And then the boys are off for a sleep over with my wonderful mom and sisters (you guys are the best). So it's steak and lobster for dinner tonight. We've decided to try and cook it up ourselves, we'll see how we do.

Today I have the final of my Fairy Garden cards from the July Savvy'n'Sassy ribbon kit. I loved this kit!

Well that's it for today. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. I'll be back next week with some more creations.

More Fairy Garden cards to share today. It's a busy week at our house. The boys are enjoying their summer camps and I'm busy trying to get to some house cleaning that was neglected while we were all sick last week.

On to the cards...

I hope you like them. Have a fun summer day and I'll be back later this week.

Lisa McDonald

A couple of months ago we went down to Fish Creek and had some photos taken by the ver talented Lisa McDonald. If you live in Calgary and you want some photos taken I can't say enough about this lady. I was happy with every single photo we got. She got the boys to do what she asked with ease (they loved her). So I'll be scrapping these photos for a while, I got lots! It was so hard to choose which ones to put on the wall, I loved them all.

Here is the first layout I did with these photos. It is really simple because the photos are so gorgeous I didn't want to take away from them.

I used Bo Bunny Paper, Prima Flowers, the fabulous new pom pom ribbon from Savvy'n'Sassy, Basic Grey Chipboard and Fiskars Border punch.

If you want to see Lisa's work you can go to her website here or visit her blog.

Well that's it for today. We have a busy day of golf lessons and then we are getting some tile repaired in the front hall. I hope that goes smoothly. Have a wonderful day.
