This is a favorite of mine right now. I did this card for the Hot Shotz contest at Scrapshotz. We had to follow a recipe of 5 things. Mine was 3 patterned papers, cut one of the patterned papers, use dimensional adhesive, use metal and use a rubon sentiment. This turned out to be one of my favorites. Love this Cherry Arts paper.

A technique card
Sorry I've been MIA, it's been a busy week! I wanted to share I card I did a couple of weeks back for a contest at Scrapshotz. We had to use a technique on this card, so being an indecisive person I had to choose a few to put on here. I used Tim Holtz crackle paint and then inked in the cracks for the stamped image mat. The image is embossed with Tim Holtz Distress embossing powder. I used 3 different kinds to get the color variation on the image. Finally I used Tim Holtz Distress inks to blend the background for the sky and the ground. The little bird was actually cut from an American Crafts package. I inked and then used Stickles on him.

A couple of blog challenges
Happy Sunday!!
I have a couple of cards today for blog challenges I did. The first one is for Heidi's blog. She had a sketch and this is what I came up with.
The second is for a challenge on Carla's blog. Another sketch.

The Bucket list
So I have a birthday coming up in couple of months. A sort of significant one. So I began thinking about all the things I'd like to get done before I kick the bucket. So here is the list. And then I decided to do a layout about it and when Catherine (a very talented lady) posted a challenge on her blog to do a layout without pictures...I thought this is perfect. So here it is My Bucket list. I'm sure I'll add to it, but it's a start!
I'll be back tomorrow I'm working on few more challenges from other blogs. Have a happy Saturday!

A new week, so more to share
First here is a card I did last week and used it as my entry for a contest. Love this little stamp
Next, I love this new card kit from Scrapshotz I did this card using a sketch from the Scrapshotz crop this weekend.
And finally, the boys wanted to go for a spring walk, so we went during Easter break and as you can see no blooms yet, but they had fun.
