Hi everyone. I'm back with my final post of 2008. Wow, what a year this has been. There have been a few challenges but I have to say I'm a very lucky person and I'm totally blessed. One of my goals for 2009 is to remember all my blessings when times are tough. So enough reflection, LOL. I have a card to show. It's based on Laura's sketch over at 2 Sketches 4 you. I used the WRMK Nonsense paper, it's very fun.
Very quick card. And a quick post. I hope you all have a safe New Year's Eve and I'll see you in 2009!

Some So Sketchy cards
Good morning everyone. I hope you had a great Christmas. Lots of great food and time with family. We were totally spoiled around here. My boys got a Wii from my great sisters and we were able to get our hands on a Wii Fit on Boxing day. It's a big hit around here. I also got the cutest purse from my sisters that I'm totally in love with. But the best present was from my DH....
Can you believe it!!! He totally spoiled me. I'm in love. I've been hoping to get up to my desk to really play with them. Hopefully today.
Now on to some scrappy stuff. I played with some of the great card sketches over at So Sketchy. Ally comes up with some great ones. Check it out if you have some time.
Here is the first one based on the November #3 Sketch. It's a transparency card using Short cuts transparency. I love this stuff, good weight, great for sewing on and finger print proof.
Here is another view.
This next one is based on the December #6 sketch. Here is my first time playing with my new Copic markers. They are so cool.
This next one is based on the December #7 sketch. I made it for my godparents who just celebrated 40 years together. Isn't that amazing!!! I thought this sketch would be perfect for a card for them.
Well that's it for today. I'm hoping to work on some scrappy stuff today. Have a happy Tuesday.

Good morning everyone. I have my Let's Scrap card for you today. After much thought I have decided to step down from my DT position there so this is my last card. I have really enjoyed my time there and there is an awesome group of ladies over there. Check it out if you have time.
Below is the sketch I created and the card I made. Again if you use the sketch I'd love to see your creation.
Wow, I can't believe it's Christmas Eve. I wish you all Happy Holidays and safe travels. I'll be back after Christmas with some more creations.

Bad blogger...
Hi all, I've been a bad blogger I know. I've been a little under the weather and with all the Christmas hub bub, I'm just trying to keep up! Today I have my first card I did for Let's Scrap. It's based on my sketch. If you do a card based on the sketch I'd love to see it.
Here is the card. I used October Afternoon paper, Cuttlebug and High Hopes stamps. I colored the image with a mix of Prismas and gamsol AND some Tim Holtz Distress ink.
Now for a picture of my little elves. They are so excited for Christmas. This is the picture I sent in our Christmas cards. I think it turned out not bad.
Well that's it for today. I'm working on my first assignment for Creatively Yours. It's another great sketch. I'll be back on Monday with my layout. Have a happy Saturday!

More snow bunnies
Hi everyone. I have a layout to show you today. I used some of the new SEI Glitzmas paper on this one. I must say I'm not an SEI fan. But this Glitzmas paper is awesome. I have only a couple of sheets, thankfully I was able to get my hands on a whole package of it and it's headed my way was we speak. I also used the Savvy'n'Sassy Snow bunnies ribbon kit on this layout. The blue is a perfect match. Here are my two little elves. I can't believe how big they are getting. This is their Christmas card picture.
I also made a couple of gift card holders today. I used the premade ShortCuts gift card holders. I love these. Just decorate. I also used the My Mind's Eye Christmas paper.
Well that's it for tonight, we just got back from the oldest one's Christmas concert and now I'm relaxing. The holidays keep us busy.

Snow bunnies!
Good morning. Today I have a couple of cards I did using the fabulous Snow Bunnies ribbon kit at Savvy'n'Sassy. I used the My Mind's Eye paper and my cuttlebug on these cards. This ribbon matches this line perfectly. I think it's also going to match the Fancy Pants Arctic Chill too!
Well that's it for today. We have a busy weekend with lots of parties. I'm hoping to get some scrap time in too in amongst the holiday parties and baking. Have a happy Friday!

Christmas all year round.
Good morning. Today I have the challenges I did for Christmas Cards All Year 'Round. The challenges were to make a tag, make a "window" card and to make a shaped card. For my shape I did a snow globe. My window card is a shaker card.
Well that's it a quick post. I'm hoping to get to more scrapbooking this weekend. The holiday events are already picking up here and scrapping time is short. Have a great day everyone!
