Another layout!
Hello, I know I've been a bad blogger the last week or so. Things are just so busy here right now. It's just crazy. I hope you are all working hard on your "10 commandments" challenge. I can't wait to see them.
Today I have a layout I did using the fabulous April ~ Marrakech kit at Savvy'n'Sassy. I used Basic Grey Porcelain on this layout. I wasn't sure about this paper at first but when I saw it in person I was sold. I also used Prima flowers and Bazzill flowers
I'm very lucky to live just yards from this view. I love walking along the ridge and seeing all this.
Well that's it for today, it's so yucky outside I could just curl up with a book but that's not going to happen. Have a great day!

Sisterhood of Scrap Crop
Hi sisters, welcome to my blog for the next challenge from the Sisterhood of Scrap Rock around the clock crop.
So here it is:
"YOUR 10 COMMANDMENTS"
The 10 Commandments was released in 1956 and is one of my favorite movies of all time. You can see a clip here and here. So I got to thinking what are my 10 commandments. Rules I live by. Here is what I came up with:
So what are your 10 commandments. It could by serious, funny or a combination of both. I'd love to see what you come up with. Post in the comments of this post with a link to your creation.
Everyone who posts their creation to this post by April 30th at midnight MST will be entered into a draw for a $10 gift certificate to Savvy'n'Sassy.
Can't wait to see what you ladies come up with. Have a great day.

Another Creatively Yours Layout
Happy Wednesday.
Today I have another one of my Creatively Yours creations. I just love these sketches that Noella and Ali come up with. I'm going to be so sad May 1st when my term is up. They are having a DT call you should head over there and check it out. These two ladies are so fun to work for and their sketches make it so easy.
Here is my layout based on sketch #53:
I used Pink Paislee paper and chipboard, Kaiser pearls, Prima flowers, Making memories letters.
Just a quick post today. The boys are off this week so I'm entertaining them in and between my usual errands and things. Have a great day. I'm hoping to be back later in the week with my Photo of the week and some more Savvy'n'Sassy DT work.

Sisterhood of Scrap news

You can find the challenge here.
Also the ladies over there are celebrating their 2nd anniversary and they are holding a crop from April 19 - 26. You can find all the details in this post. I have a challenge all ready to go and I'll be posting it some time during that week. I'll let you know the date when I have it. I will be giving away a $10 gift certificate to Savvy'n'Sassy. So come check it out.

2 Sketches 4 You Card ~ April 13th
Good afternoon. I hope you had a great Easter. We had fun at our house, unfortunately the Easter bunny is no more here. My 6 year old announced to me last week that he knew the ins and outs of the Easter bunny. Oh well, we still had a great time. Brunch and lots of fun.
Today I have my 2 Sketches 4 You card. I used the new Chatterbox paper, Bazzill Flowers, Prima flowers, Fiskars border punch, Savvy'n'Sassy ribbon, and my sewing machine. I think it turned out bright and fun.
Well that's it for today, I'll be back tomorrow with my Sisterhood of Scrap project that I did for Deanne's challenge. Have a great evening.

Savvy'n'Sassy April cards
Good morning. Today I have some cards that I made using the Savvy'n'Sassy April kit Marrakech. This ribbon is meant to match the new Marrakech line by Basic Grey but I found it matched almost all of the Basic Grey I had. And seeing as I have a lot of Basic Grey, I found it really easy to use. Here are some cards I made:
Just a quick post today. The boys are off school this afternoon and they are off for the next week. Should be a week of lots of fun. Have a great day.

Photo of the Week & Creatively Yours Sketch #10
Good afternoon. Today I have my Creatively Yours layout based on Ali's sketch #10. I'm working on "Me by the month" books for my boys. I take a picture every month to see how they change as the year goes by. This picture is of my littlest in January. Because he has a bright orange jacket I went with the Basic Grey Marrakech paper and brads. I also added Savvy'n'Sassy ric rac, Fancy Pants transparencies, American Craft Thickers, Making Memories tiny alphas, Maya Road chipboard and Glimmer mist.
Now on to something new for my blog. Paula put up a blog challenge at Savvy'n'Sassy to a "thing" of the week on our blogs. Seeing as I feel I need to work on my photography, I decided to do a photo of the week. So every week I'll try and post a photo I take. This week I have some flowers that I bought to brighten my house up for Easter. I love gerber daisies. They are one of my favorite flowers. Whenever I buy a bouquet of flowers it almost always has gerbers in it. Here is my picture:
That is it for today. I hope you are enjoying some lovely spring weather where you are. I'll be back tomorrow with some creations using my Savvy'n'Sassy April kit.
