Divalicious crop

Hi all. The Divalicious crop has started over at Savvy'n'Sassy. There are some amazing challenges. And the prizes, oh my. Every challenge has a prize and the grand prize is valued at $275. Head over there and play around. There will be something to inspire you. Here are a few challenges I did for the crop.

This is a double diagonal card. You can find the instructions here. I used Dream street paper on this one and Cornish heritage farms stamps.

This one is a Diva's favorite things. I used some of the new Daisy bucket paper on this. Love this stuff.


Oh the places I'll go. I used Pink Paislee. I put the transparency over some of my elements and wrote my words on top of the transparency with American Crafts slick writers.


The next 2 are LO's I did for challenges some of the other ladies came up with.

This one was a challenge to come up with some heartfelt journaling about yourself. Pieces of a Diva. I used Pink Paislee on this one. I cut the flowers from the paper.


And this one is based on a sketch. Love this sketch that Dalis did. October afternoon on this one with some Bazzill Blossoms

Do you want to do some Christmas cards?

Hi everyone. Well are you ready to do some Christmas cards. I must say I had the best intentions to get mine done early but it just didn't happen. Well if you are stuck and ready to get going check out Deanne's Christmas cards All year round. Starting in October there will be inspiration for you to get those cards done. And I'm happy to say that I'm on the design team there. I can't wait to get started. I know, I'm a busy lady!

2 Sketches 4 You Card ~ September 15

Hello everyone, I've got my 2 Sketches 4 you card. I missed last week, just too busy. I decided to try out one of Alicia's new clear cards over a SheetLoad Short cuts. I must say I love this product. It's nice and thick and fingerprint resistant. Perfect for transparency cards. I definitely have to get more of these. I also used some Heidi Grace on this card. Love her products too. And to round it out some Kaiser bling, Hero Arts stamps, Stickles and of course my sewing machine.

September SheetLoad Mini

Good morning. The September mini issue is available for download at SheetLoad. I got to create the issue this month. This is Skinny Mini. I did a card that fits a letter sized envelope. I had fun with these cards.



Also SheetLoad's sister blog, Shortcuts has their frosted and clear cards for sale today. They are nice and thick and great for cards. I have a couple here I'll show you when I get a chance.

Let's Scrap Design Team

Good Sunday morning! I mentioned yesterday that I had some news. Well I'm joining the Let's Scrap Design team. I will be doing cards for the site. It's a brand new site, that has sketches for layouts and cards. I can't wait to get started. If you like sketches head over there and check it out. There is a very talented group of ladies there. I'm very excited to be on this team. I'll let you know when my first cards go up, sometime in October.

Also, remember tomorrow is the 15th and that means a new mini issue at SheetLoad of cards. My sketch and cards are featured this month. Check back tomorrow for a look.

Sisterhood of Scrap

Good Saturday morning. I know I've been MIA all week. It's been a busy one. Settling the kids into school has made it busy. I have been creating but that's for later *wink*

So this weekend I'm very pleased to be the Saturday Sketch Artist over at Sisterhood of Scrap. I found this site over the summer and there are some very talented ladies there and I'm so honored to be a Saturday Sketch artist this week. You can see the post here. The September cardmaps are out at Pagemaps. I was lucky enough to be asked to do a sample with one of Becky Flecks card sketches. Here is the sketch I received and the card I did with it. You can also download it with the other cards at Pagemaps. I was very excited to do this.



I used the Chatterbox Happy paper on this card. I just love this paper!

including pictures of all of the individual pieces in this kit. You can't see everything in this picture. I can't figure out how to size it correctly to do that. I'm a little technically challenged, LOL!!

Back to school today and back to a routine. I love routines. Here is my 2 Sketches 4 you card. A very quick card (not a lot of time around here right now). It's using the SEI Poppy line.
