Good morning, the last day in June, I can't believe where this month has gone. It' has flown by. Today I have a Creatively Yours layout to share with you. First before I forget, check out this post. All you have to do is make a bookmark based on the sketch to be entered for a RAK. And let me tell you, my bookmark came together super fast. So you have time.
Ok on to my layout. Here is the sketch and layout.
I used Fancy Pants paper and glitter cuts, 7 gypsies tags, Bazzill Flowers, Making Memories brads and letters and Savvy'n'Sassy ribbon.
That's it for today. I'm off to take my boys out to buy some books for the summer. They are big readers and I promised if they had good report cards we'd go out and get some books. Well it's time for me to pay up! LOL. Have a great day.

Some Pom Poms
Happy Monday everyone. Hope you had a great weekend. Today is the last day of school for my boys so they are pretty excited.
Today I have a card to share that I just love. I used the Day in the Garden kit over at Savvy'n'Sassy. This kit has some very cool pom pom ribbon in it. It's lots of fun to play with. If you want to try it out this kit is for you.
So here is one of the cards I made. I used Basic Grey paper, Unity stamps, Prismas and gamsol & Smooch. I also used some white ribbon from the Tropical Splash kit. I decided to make the pom poms into my grass.
Hope you are having a great start to the week.

A favorite layout
Today is the day! After many years of debate I'm getting braces. I know I'm probably crazy but I'm hoping it will be worth it in the end. Hopefully it all goes smoothly. If I'm not too self conscious I may take a picture, LOL.
On to some scrappy stuff. Today I have a layout I did using the Tropical Splash ribbon kit over at Savvy'n'Sassy. I love doing Fall layouts. I take tones of pictures in the Fall just so I have lots of them to scrap. Here is one of my favorites from last fall. You may notice that the lace in this kit is actually white. So what I did to match it too my layout was spray it with Glimmer mist. Worked like a charm.
I also used: Bo Bunny paper, American Craft thickers, Riff Raff chipboard, 2 types of Glimmer Mist, Maya Road chipboard, Making Memories brads, Chatterbox Brad Maker, 7 Gypsies tags and Tim Holtz Distress ink.
Well that's it for today. Hopefully I'll be a new person by this afternoon. Have a great Friday and weekend. Oh and don't forget about the RAK here. I'll draw for it on Sunday.
TGIF!!

A Creatively Yours Bookmark
Good morning. It's going to be a beautiful day here. I'm looking forward to it. I'm also hoping to knock off some of my long list of scrapping that I have to get done. We'll see how the day goes.
Today I have a book mark to show you. This is based on a sketch that Ali did for Creatively Yours. It was super fast to do. I used Fancy pants, Fiskars border punch, Savvy'n'Sassy ribbon, Sakura Gel pen, Bazzill flowers, Kaiser rhinestones, Three Bugs rubons and my sewing machine.
I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it for myself or give it away. Oh and don't forget about the RAK in this post.
Well that's it for today. I'm off to get my day going. Have a wonderful day.

A Tropical Splash & a RAK
Well it's the last full week of school here and I'm looking forward to getting out the routine for a bit. I know the kids could sure use a break.
Today I have some Savvy'n'Sassy projects to show you. I'm working with the wonderful Tropical Splash it. It's yummy. Love this color combo. I did a couple of altered projects.
The fist is a mini lunch pail for some matching cards. I covered the pail in Making Memories metallic paint. Sanded and then covered it some more and sanded again. I also used Basic Grey Lime Ricky, Unity stamps, Prima flowers, Primas & gamsol and Smooch
And here is one of the cards I made to go with it:
Next I decided to decorate this jar I plan to use in my scrap room. I'm thinking it will hold some buttons that I have on the way.
Pretty quick and easy but I think it will look cute on my shelf.
So now the RAK. Seeing as I have a birthday coming up I decided to give away another $10 gift certificate to Savvy'n'Sassy. All you have to do is leave a comment and I'll enter you into a draw on Sunday morning.
Well that's it for today. I'm off to get the day going. I'll be back later in the week with some more projects. Also, don't forget to stop by SheetLoad of Cards. We are launching the Simple, Special, Stunning series. It's a lot of fun so check it out. Have a happy Tuesday!

A special mini book
Good morning. Today I have a mini book that I worked on last month to show you. There are a lot of pictures in this post, it's a long one. I made a book to showcase our photos from our anniversary trip to Waterton, AB last August. We had such a great time I thought a mini book would be perfect. I love mini books because they are small and easy to flip through.
Materials used: Maya Road album, sheers and chipboard; 7 Gypsies paper, embellishments, gaffer tape & tags; Prima flowers; Crochet flowers by Martina Brill; American Craft Thickers, Savvy'n'Sassy ribbon and probably a bunch of other little embellishments.
I hope you enjoyed looking if you head over to Savvy'n'Sassy you can see the challenge I posted based on this book here and there is a sale on mini books in the store too. You can find that here. I hope you have a great day and get some scrapping time too.

My little elf!
Good morning. I hope you are enjoying some lovely spring weather. We have finally gotten some great weather and it's so nice.
Today I have a Creatively Yours sketch to share with you. This one was a circle sketch which I love. I had originally done a circle LO, but just found something wasn't working with it so I put a square backing on it and I like it much better. Stop by Creatively Yours to see all the wonderful interpretations. I love how 1 sketch can become so many things. So here is the great sketch by Noella
And here is what I did. I used Making Memories paper, KI Memories paper, Prima embellishments, Savvy'n'Sassy ribbon, American Craft Thickers & Kaiser rhinestones.
Ya I love my cute little elf. This just captures his personality.
Well that's it for today. I have a couple more things to show you, but I have to run and get the day going. Have a great Tuesday!

Bitten by the bug/Cutting Cafe #2
Remember this? Well here is my second card.
For this card I used the fruit digi stamps that you can buy here. I love these. How cute are they! I also used Basic Grey, Prismas and gamsol, Stickles, Savvy'n'Sassy ribbon & Bazzill flowers.
The downloads at Cutting Cafe are awesome. Definitely head over there and check them out.
Ok that's it for today. I've been working on an album that my sister wants to give to her friend who is retiring. I'm so enjoying doing it as it's for a little girl and I rarely get to scrap for a little girl. Hope you are having a great weekend!
For the next 2 weeks there is an awesome inter site challenge going on and we at SheetLoad of Cards are using the wonderful images from the Cutting Cafe to make cards using the SheetLoad June sketch. You can find the SheetLoad sketch here. You can also go to Bitten by the Bug and ShortCuts to see more about this.

A Card Tag
Alicia started a card tag last week and I played along. These are so fun. I person starts out with a card and then sends it to the next person and so on down the line. It's fun to see how the cards change as you go down the line. You can see the full results here.
My card is below. I must say I happened to be a little rushed the day I got mine. I was in the middle of wedding invitations. But I managed to do this little card here. I used Basic Grey Lime Ricky, Bazzill flower, Tim Holtz Distress ink and Making Memories tiny alphas.
Well that's it for today. It's going to be beautiful here, I can't wait. I have to get out into my garden and get my new trees settled in. Don't forget to leave a comment in this post to win a $10 gift certificate to Savvy'n'Sassy. Have a great day and enjoy the sun if you have it.

Creatively Yours Again!!
Good morning. I've got a layout today using a sketch from Creatively Yours. I am thrilled to be staying on for another term with these fabulous ladies. These sketches are always an inspiration and if you are experiencing scrapper's block you should head over there, you won't be disappointed. Oh, I should mention that the blog has moved, if you follow the link above or on my side bar you will get to the new blog, so you may have to update your links.
Here is my interpretation of Sketch 54. I used Basic Grey Marrakech, Maya Road chipboard, Glimmer mist, Quickutz dies, Glossy Accents, Elle's Studio journaling tags, and LOTS of eyelets. Yes those are eyelets all around the edge, took me a while to set all those, but I like the look.
I have been feverishly working on some wedding invitations. I was asked to create some for a friend of a friend. I'm so honored to have been asked! So that's what I've been working on. I'm hoping to get them done in the next day or two and get back to some more scrapping.
Well that's it for today. Another busy one here, landscaping, soccer and such. Don't forget about the giveaway in this post. You have until Monday. Have a great day!
