A favorite picture
Good morning! Today I have one of my projects using the Savvy'n'Sassy November ribbon kit. It will be available for sale next week. It's super yummy, filled with bright blues.
For this project I decided to use a picture that I absolutely love. I took it on our hike near Barrier Lake in Kananaskis this summer. It's my oldest just looking out and enjoying the view. My boys sure loved that hike. I can't believe they got all the way to the top.
Materials: Savvy'n'Sassy November ribbon kit, October Afternoon paper & diecuts, Making Memories tiny alphas, American Craft thickers, Daisy D rubon stitches, Basic Grey chipboard & Fiskars border punch.
That's it for today. A busy day here, the boys are off from school today. Have a happy Monday and I'll be back later in the week with some more projects.

SheetLoad's simple, special, stunning
It is time for the October edition of Simple Special Stunning at the SheetLoad of Cards blog, featuring samples by Katie Skiff.
Each month one of our artists will share three different cards that use the current layout. Each card is a "step up" from the previous one, but they are all fabulous. It is a good way to show how SheetLoad is geared toward papercrafters of all levels.
Here are some sneak peeks to whet your appetite...

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Well, if you were in Calgary yesterday you saw the snow storm. I could not believe it when I woke up yesterday morning. There was snow everywhere! So in honor of that, how about some Christmas Cards. I did these using the October Savvy'n'Sassy ribbon kit. This was yummy, all the black. And I thought great for Christmas cards, so I went to work. These are for my Mom to use.
Pretty quick and easy but they work. Well that's it for today. I'll be back tomorrow with my Creatively Yours sketch for the week. Enjoy your day.
